This Week at the Palisades Farmer's Market

From Jim Coleman- Market Manager

From 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Palisades Farmers Market will be filled with the sights, flavors, and conversations that make spring in the Palisades such a special time of year - from bright bouquets and warm pastries to sweet strawberries, fresh raspberries, and the season's finest local produce. On a late spring morning, there is something reassuring about gathering at the market: warm bread in hand, fresh coffee steaming, flowers brightening the tables, and neighbors greeting one another week after week.

Markets like ours are more than places to shop. They are places where community takes root and grows. Every loaf of bread, bundle of greens, carton of strawberries, bouquet of flowers, and cup of coffee purchased at the market helps sustain the farmers, bakers, cooks, artisans, and small businesses whose work enriches our neighborhood and strengthens our local economy.

This Sunday, the Palisades Farmers Market continues its spring season along MacArthur Boulevard and 48th Place. We open at 9:00 AM to a moderate and comfortable morning, with temperatures in the high 70s and sunny skies. From 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the market will be filled with the sights, flavors, and conversations that make spring in the Palisades such a special time of year.

Every Sunday market helps preserve something worth protecting: local farms, family-run kitchens, neighborhood makers, regional food traditions, and the relationships that connect us to one another. By supporting these vendors, we invest not only in fresh food and local products, but also in a more resilient, vibrant, and connected community for everyone.

So come wander the market paths for a while.

Pick up flowers for the kitchen table, fresh strawberries and raspberries for the week ahead, or a loaf of bread still warm from the oven. Pause for a cup of coffee, greet a neighbor, and enjoy the simple pleasures of a spring morning together.

Whether you come for the produce, the pastries, the people, or simply for a quiet walk outdoors, thank you for helping make the Palisades Farmers Market a thriving community gathering place each week.

We look forward to sharing another Sunday morning with you.

Warmly,

Jim Coleman
